new etiquette

The New Rules Of Business Etiquette

Knock before entering a cubicle.

Try to approach from within your colleague's sight line. Pause before entering her cubicle. Ask if now is a good time to talk.

Call or e-mail before you arrive.

Instead of making a beeline for your colleague's cubicle, get in touch in advance, and ask what would be a convenient time for you to drop by.

Don't leave voicemail messages when you know the person is out.

Midnight is not a good time to leave a voicemail or send a note. If you get a brainstorm in the middle of the night, write an e-mail and put it in your draft folder. Hit "Send" at 9 the next morning.

If you're the boss, don't send demanding e-mails on the weekend.

Unless your team is on a shotgun deadline, compose your instructions over the weekend, but don't send them until Monday morning.

If you get a weekend e-mail from the boss, you may take a day to reply.

You can't ignore a boss's weekend request completely, but you can wait 24 hours before responding. It's fine to set a boundary around your personal time.

giving up

Its a Calling

Its a Curse

I can't tell anymore

Its quiet now

Like I'm breathing alone

Theres no one there

Theres no faces

No voices

No anything

Just me

And happiness

Peacefullness

I think

Soon

Something will happen

And I will know

Who is there

What is out there

But for now

I'm going to

Breathe

Wrong Intentions

I don't know why I agreed to it. I shouldn't have. Why should I have risked my self against a force I don't know how to fight? Why did I pick up the phone when Chuck called? He said it would have worked, he said it was fool proof. But why am I here and he's still out there?

I called the other guys, and the freshmen too. The guys were supposed to keep watch, and the freshmen, well they were more bait than I was. But where are they? Where are the other kids... where is Chuck?
Alice I could hear was on the other end of the line, talking fast, about how I was teh best one, the best canidate. She never said why. I know she was using me to get to my love, I know it. She's in on it too.

Oh my love, why did you let me go? Why did you let me  basically sacrifice myself? Kaite my darling, why did you let me go and kill myself? You know I'll never get out. There is no way out. My great-grandfather never made it out, so how can I? You know how scared I was, but why did you convince me into it? Were you in league with Chuck the whole time? ... Wait. That must be it. You and Chuck are cheating behind my back! You lied to me! You love Chuck! Not me! The baby probably isn't even mine! It's Chucks! The timing is right, you weren't pregnant after the wedding, you got pregnant a few days before and LIED to ME. Chuck when I get out I'm going to kill you. You can count on it. And I'll get Kaite too.

How could you lie to me like that Kaite? Telling me you love me, then going with Chuck? We were going to start a future together, buy a house move out of the apartment. Both of us finish school... now look what you've done. You've ruined everything. Both of you. You wanted me to stay the night, to recruit the others, then have the forest take me over. It's not going to work, I will be free and I will come after you.
Nodnol, I spit on you. You took my family's dreams when you let the forest live. Now I am the last survivor and I will avenge my family. Forget friends, who needs friends when they betray you. Forget family, I never knew one that was loving. Forget that you ever knew happiness, I am going to ruin you.

Worrying

I know where Justin is, but it still scares me. I want him home, now. I'm afraid that the plan failed, I'm afraid that Justin is hurt, or even....
Chuck was a good friend of ours, we all met in college. Strong willed that one, would do anything for his sister, often talked about her too. I saw a picture of her once, pretty little thing, that must have been when she was sixteen or so. We hadn't heard from Chuck since he 'crossed the pond' for his study, Justin and I got married right before he left so that he could attend. He called Justin the other night and then everything went wrong.
Justin went along with the plan, he'd do anything for Chuck, even practically risk his own neck, which he had done occasionally when they went skateboarding. Chuck said on the phone that his sister was taken. It gave us both the chills. My little one seemed to shiver too.
Chuck hasn't called yet, and I'm worried about Justin. I didn't hear the rest of the conversation, I was calling the rest of the team while they worked out a plan. I wish I knew what it was. Or maybe it's best that I don't know, for the sake of my little one.
Please be safe Justin, I love you.

BeetleJuice

Betelgeuse! Betelgeuse! Betelgeuse!

A couple of recently deceased ghosts contract the services of a "bio-exorcist" in order to remove the obnoxious new owners of their house.

Delia: A little gasoline... blowtorch... no problem.

Basically a really funny movie of a dysfunctional family that learns to accept everyones differences and defeat a ghost. Oh yea and theres ghosts in it too :)

Best songs?
"Day light Come and We Want to Go Home!"
