Makes you think....

Inconsistency Is The Hobgoblin Of Small Minds And Nationalized Health Care Advocates

Consistency has been given a bad rap, as in: "Consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds." The problems is that is a misquote. The real quote is: "A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds."

Consistency does have its merits. Consistency in the meaning of a word leads to communication and understanding; inconsistency leads to obfuscation and confusion. Consistency in action allows soldiers to trust each other with their lives; inconsistency leads to distrust and death.

So why is it that those who support the Obama administration's health care agenda, as interpreted by the U.S. House bill, will say it is a right under the principle established in the Declaration of Independence ... Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness... but are willing to overlook the fact that, as formulated in the House bill, our reconstituted health care system would willingly allow that our system permit the destruction of children in their mothers' wombs and possibly criminalize the elderly who might purchase their health care with their own funds, if the system deemed their needs unworthy of receiving such care under the nationalized process.

If LIFE is a RIGHT, it must be a universal right under any program established by our government. It is simply INCONSISTENT to claim a nationalized health care system is a right based on the principle of promoting life... and then exclude the most vulnerable, the children in their mothers' wombs and the frail and elderly... who are most in need of the health care system's protection.

Beyond the matter of pure logic [and basic ethics], which the House bill fails miserably, there is the matter of whether the House bill improves or erodes the level of care available to Americans. Judging from the analysis of the cost as well as the content, it appears to be the latter.

  1. How true, and how right you are. Sadly, and unfortunately, Many younger people are pro-choice, because they think not of the livest hey are destroying, they selfishly think of what's going to happen to them, how will this AFFECT their life, and take away the life of their child in order to protect it. I'm glad and proud you understand the atrocities of this. You always were one who was a step above the rest in my book.
