One Act Main Character

Chatting in the corner
With one eye
On the one act main character
Looking for a distraction
A casual on purpose bump
Green dress Brown Sweater
Not much of an eye catcher
Lack of Makeup
Nothing very special
Turned away looking elsewhere
Pausing ready for a moment
Cannot allow the non descript to have a moment
Find another to discuss mechanics
She moves away
Then a moment of recognition
A soft touch
Sparkle in bare eyes
Shimmer of golden brown hair
Quick paced gait away
Never faltered as the heels
Of a grown woman passed by
There it was the moments gone
The memories tailed behind
As the doors closed
Two years ago that smile
Left the same way - too quickly
There are others, older, more mature
Confident, tall and unfair
Green dress Brown Sweater
Has left again with only a hello
A congratulations
And a hole
In a one act main characters confused heart.
