Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider has leaped from the pages of the Marvel comics books and has landed directly into the movie screen. Yes ladies and gentlemen, another comic book character has entered your homes through the device called the DVD player, not through your sons or daughters backpacks like good children do. No, Ghost Rider has become another movie starring none other than... Nicholas Cage. What hasn't he been in?
So Ghost Rider, I'm not sure how similar it is to the comic book, but Ghost Rider, pictured above, started off as a motorcycle stunt kid who used to ride with his father. Then he made a deal with the devil, and like most deals, it went bad. Years later Blaze meets up with the Devil again and the Devil turns Blaze into the Ghost Rider. Basically, he rides as a human during the day, and at night he hunts bad guys. Oh and here's the best part. he becomes skeleton like, his head starts to burn with fire and his motorcycle tricks out to however he wants it to.
Not too bad right? Well, it really wouldn't have been in Blaze didn't have a girl friend. And like any good story character, his girlfriend gets in the way, becomes bait, needs to be rescued, all that good stuff that makes movies like this interesting. Oh and Girlfriend not only becomes bait, she becomes a bargaining chip. Particularly like the flaming body parts, saved me from actually seeing Cage the whole time (haven't you had enough of him already Hollywood? Shesh!) and turned out to be an okay movie. Oh, and there's a sequel coming out too. Enjoy!
