Eating Words

In the Gospel I heard today my priest talked about how we can live on the words of God alone.  Upon further reflection I realized that he was right, in an offhand way.  God said ‘Let there be light,’ and who would’ve thunk, but we can survive on sunlight.  Plants do after all, and there are studies proving that as a race humans do tend to become grumpier when we are less likely to see the sun or feel its warm rays.  Try it one day; mark off how many times you snap at a person during a fairly cloudy week.  Then try it again on a fairly sunny week. So who’s grumpy now, Grumpy?  He gave us plants on another day, animals the next and so on and so forth, so now we can eat.  We can live on his words alone because with his words he created the word for us to live in.  So how many of you did not see that before?
